Southern Hospitality Ch. 04

"Ash?" she said, voice tentative, interrupting his train of thought as he had apparently spaced out.
"Hm? Oh, mind? I don't mind, quite the opposite, actually." he said with a sly smile.
Amy sipped her coffee to hide her reaction, glancing away.
"So..." he said softly, drawing her attention back to him, "Do you come here often?"
"Not often, but sometimes, I play Magic with a few cosplay friends of mine." She said, biting her lip.
"Oh, that's pretty cool. Who have you been cosplaying as recently?"
She looked genuinely surprised that he understood what she was saying, "Just a character from a video game, she's called Mei who is-"
"Overwatch? Right?" He said, perking up.
Her eyes widened further, "Y-yeah? You know it?"
"I play it!"
"You do?" She said, her voice becoming eager, excited.
He nodded and smiled brightly, also finding himself surprised by their unexpected connection.
They couldn't help themselves, he wasn't sure what sort of family and friends she had aside from Laura, but with his friends being completely disinterested in gaming and computers, their mutual nerdy interests limited mostly to films like the Marvel and Star Wars, he found it a welcoming experience to find someone to be able to discuss these things with.
The more they talked about things she enjoyed the more she came out of her shell, her personality creeping out, proving to be bubbly and full of mirth. She was quick to laugh and quicker to smile, enjoying his company and their discussion.
The date didn't go at all like had expected, he had gone into it expecting a farce of a date preluding her real interests and, he thought, his own, getting the formality of conversation out of the way so they could indulge in sex.
But the more they talked the less he found himself thinking about it. He had, of course, early in the conversation been stealing glances, like any red-blooded boy, at her huge bust, enjoying their subtle movement as she laughed, but now, more and more, he found himself caught in her eyes, the pale blue of them entrancing as they talked, her gorgeous full red lips almost always curled up in a warm smile.
