[Fiction]
I've always thought dating coworkers is weird and awkward but here I am walking upstairs to my apartment with my coworker after a nice first date at Italia Parlor - the best calzones for miles.
Natalia is a gorgeous, pale American-born girl of Slavic descent. She has raven hair that could murder a man dead, dead I say. She's gorgeous. Natalia has a petite body; slim and athletic curves hide inside her clothes. I've always liked smaller girls because it feels good to know I can wrap them in my arms entirely and comfort them during turmoil. Brown eyes complete her facial equilibrium. The artists and sculptors of old missed out on this dame.
"Nice place, Brett," she said as we entered my apartment - nothing grand or spectacular. She's never been the snobby type so I doubt she'll mind the lackluster décor.
"Yeah, sure it is," I laughed it off.
"What do you want to do?" I asked.
She twirled around and said, "Take off my shoes; these are a killer on the soles."
She proceeded to de-shoe and I did the same while asking, "What about a movie?"
"I'd be up for that," she smiled.
"It's a work night so nothing too long," I mumbled while I flipped on the TV and navigated to the on demand section. "Any movie you're dying to see?"
"Surprise me. Mind if I use the bathroom?"
"Down the hall," I smiled and sat down to surf through the list of movies. Nothing caught my fancy and when I heard the toilet flush I acted natural on the couch.
She stood in my dark peripheral quite awkwardly. Is she an axe murderer? I peaked at her and found a girl out of her night-on-the-town clothes and down to her panties and bra. Well, hello. My eyes widened so much I think I might need stitches.
"Since it is a work night, as you reminded earlier, I want to skip the awkward stage where we slowly get closer or hold hands on the couch, okay?"
